As a Shasta Literacy tutor, you will provide the keys to our learners’ success! Tutors are carefully matched with learners and provided with free training and support. Tutors and learners typically meet once a week for one to two hours.
Tutors can work with learners who have a variety of goals such as
- Learn to read and write better
- Pass the GED
- Learn English as a second language
- Study for the citizenship test
- Learn more about financial literacy
- Learn how to use a smartphone or computer
- Help a family learn reading and writing together
- Help a family learn English together
